I know you all have heard that James Cameron is working on ‘Avatar 2’ and you all are eagerly waiting for it but next few lines of my article will increase your eagerness and happiness both by many folds.

James Cameron confirmed in a recent press release that he is working on three back to back sequels of ‘Avatar

So now you will not only get chance to see ‘Avatar 2’ but also you will enjoy ‘Avatar 3’ and ‘Avatar 4’ as well.

To speed up the writing process and to add more flavor to Pandora world James Cameron has added Josh Friedman (War of the Worlds), Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planets of the Apes) and Shane Salerno (Savages) to his board of screen writers.

“Building upon the world we created with Avatar has been a rare and incredibly rewarding experience. In writing the new films, I’ve come to realize that Avatar’s world, story and characters have become even richer than I anticipated, and it became apparent that two films would not be enough to capture everything I wanted to put on screen,” Cameron said in a statement. “And to help me continue to expand this universe, I’m pleased to bring aboard Amanda, Rick, Shane and Josh.”

According to sources production task will start from 2014 and first sequel (Avatar 2) will hit the silver screen at around Dec 2016 and ‘Avatar 3’ and ‘Avatar 4’ will release in 2017 and 2018. So you will have your favorite actor in action in back to back sequel releases.
