Is someone made you really pissed off by his regular useless or spam emails which you do not want to receive. Well, then you can simply block him and sit back and relax.
In outlook you can block a particular email address form which you do not wish to receive any kind of email. This is surely a great feature and helps you avoid pesky emails. The next time the sender sends you any emails, then either that email will be deleted or will be sent to the junk folder so your inbox will be neat and clean with the emails you want to be there.
How to block an email address in Outlook?
1. Login to your Hotmail/outlook Account, and navigate to the settings and then click on more mail settings.
2. Now find out Safe and blocked senders. You will get this option under the tag preventing junk email. Click that and then you will get three options as shown in figure below. Now click on Block Senders.
3. Now Enter Email Address or a domain name which you want to block and do not wish the email from them to go into your inbox. After that, click on Add to list. This will add the person in the blocked list.
4. If you want to remove anyone from the block list, simply select that person address from the list of blocked senders and select remove from list. That person will be unblocked.
To block by Email – firstname.lastname@example.org
To block by Domain – @yahoo.com, @gmail.com
Note: If you used the block by domain option, no any email address on this domain will be able to send you mails. For example, if you used @gmail.com , then no one with an email on gmail.com will be able to send you message as that will be automatically filtered by Outlook.
