Summary of the Match
So, it is becoming a trend for captain MS Dhoni to win the toss again and again and then choosing field. Obviously, it has been helping team India in their 3rd consecutive win. Indian bowlers proved the fielding decision right and put Bangladesh on back foot by picking up 3 early wickets in just 4.1 overs giving away 21 runs. After that Mushfiqur Raheem built the innings with Anamul Huq (Opener) and added 46 runs for the 4th wicket. Mushfiqur Rahim scored 24 runs in 21 balls with the help of 4 boundaries. Anamul Huq scored highest for Bangladesh. He made 44 runs in 43 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. In the last few overs of inning, Mahmudullah helped Bangladesh to reach a respective score. He scored 33* in just 27 balls. Amit Mishra were once again star in Indian bowling who took 3 wickets in 4 overs for 26 runs. Ashwin remained most economical with a spell of 4-0-15-2. B Kumar and Shami got 1 wicket each.
After Bangladesh, it was the starting of Indian innings. And once again Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan failed and could score only 1 run. He was bowled out by Al-Amin-Hossain. But, once again Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli stood for Indian innings and added 100 runs for the second wicket partnership. Rohit Sharma was caught by Nasir Hossain on the ball of M Mortaza after scoring 56 runs in 44 balls. But, till that time the match was in the hands of team India. After that Mahendra Singh Dhoni joined Virat Kohli and smashed 22 runs in just 12 balls with the help of 1 four and 2 sixes including winning one. Virat Kohli remained not out on 57 in 50 balls. He scored his 6th T20I fifty and 2nd in this World Cup.
