Finally Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specifications have been announced by Samsung in IFA event at Berlin just few hours ago.
As expected Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is having lots of new design tweaks and fully loaded with next gen hardware and software.

Display Screen (Size and screen resolution)
Samsung Note 3 comes in 5.7 inch screen size with super-AMOLDED full HD display. Display resolution is 1920*1080 pixels with 386.5 ppi (pixel per inches) that makes the screen quality much better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (Note 2 was having 5.5 inch screen size with 267 ppi).
Dimensions and weight
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has slightly better dimensions (a bit taller and thinner) as compare to Note 2. Note 3 Dimensions – 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3mm. It weighs 168 grams. It has trimmed top and bottom bezel that makes it more comfortable in your hand.
Note 3 Body
This is where you find a major look and feel change in Samsung Note III. This time company has added matte Leather finish removable cover instead of glossy plastic cover of Note 2. It offers a comfortable and much controlled grip and don’t leave any finger prints as well.

Samsung Galaxy Note III Software Specs
In the software segment, company has tried to add many new features to make it more user friendly and catchy. S-Pen is one of the core parts of Note 3 and it would not be wrong if we say that it is the USP of Samsung Note 3
Air Command- It is a newly added feature in Note 3. As soon as user pulls out the S pen from its holding place a semicircular pop-up menu appear on screen with following options.

- S Finder
- Pen Window
Action Memo– It helps you to highlight any text section from memo and provide you option related to highlighted text. E.g. if you highlight a phone number then it provides you option to make a call or save it to contact etc.
Scrapbook- A place to store and manage related information. E.g. draw a circle around any object and it can save all information within highlighted area into your scrapbook.
S Finder- It is powerful search functionality especially for power users. You can search anything from data saved on your device (handwritten notes, pictures and media).
Pen Windows– User can draw a rough window (circle or square or any looped shape) on your note’s screen and fill it with another app, such as the calculator, clocks or YouTube. It then floats on top, and can be dragged around the display, maximized, or minimized to a small shortcut; these look much like Facebook Chat Heads
My Magazine – It is also a newly added feature in Samsung Note 3. It is similar to HTC Blinkfeed and provides an option to user to pulls in different news sources and social networking shares. You can arrange then them into side-swiped categories. User can open the article by tapping on the links.
Availability of Samsung Galaxy Note 3
If you want to try your hands on your own Samsung Galaxy Note 3 then you have wait for 3 more weeks as it’s market release date is 25th Sep 2013 worldwide (in 140 countries).
If you are in US then you have to wait few more weeks as expected release date in US is somewhere in Oct first week this year.
